Kyla Madsen and Travis Scott were united in marriage during an evening ceremony at Calvary Lutheran Church in Bellevue, WA. Reverend Douglas Weiser officiated. Organist was David Kriewall. Personal attendant was Rachel DeWind of West Seattle WA. Chad Scott, brother of the groom (Fishers IN) served as best man. Maid of Honor was Jennifer Frick (Portland OR). Attendants included Alison Buttemeier (Sioux Falls SD) and Kaley Madsen, brother of the bride (Carpenter SD); Kamille Knudson (Brandon SD) and Aaron Warnecke (Indianapolis IN); Kate Kiley (Boston MA) and Joe Giordano (Carmel IN); Sally Stien (Sioux Falls SD) and Kirk Barney (Woodinville WA); and Tara Scott, sister in law of the groom (Fishers IN) and Doug Schlagel (Parker CO). Anna (4) and Maggie (2) Scott, nieces of the groom, were flower girls. Mother of the bride, Valerie (Billie) Madsen (Carpenter SD) was seated by usher Sam Warnecke, cousin of the groom. Parents of the groom, Craig and Cindy Scott of Georgetown IN, were ushered by Ben and Brent Warnecke, cousins of the groom. The bride was escorted by her father, Kim Madsen (Carpenter SD) to “O Perfect Love.” Lesson readings were Ephesians 4:32 and 5:29. Sermon text was Isaiah 54:10. The recessional was “Let Us Ever Walk with Jesus.” The bride wore a white mermaid style gown by Maggie Sottero with a v-neckline, embellished lace, and handmade flowers over a satin waistband. Bridesmaids wore blue satin dresses, strapless with a pleated side drape by ML Monique Lhuillier. Men were dressed in black tuxedos and black bow ties.Kaley Madsen and his fiancé Heidi Stern served as host and hostess of the reception held at the Hilton Garden in Issaquah WA. A buffet meal of bacon wrapped pork loin with apple butter sauce, salmon with mango chutney, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled vegetable platter, fruit, cheese, and caprese, spinach, and Caesar salads was served.First dance was U2’s “All I Want is You” performed by musician Tony Bohnenkamp (Des Moines IA). Father/daughter dance was “She” by Elvis Costello. Mother/son dance was “I’m a Lucky So and So” by Ella Fitzgerald. Guests were entertained with live music and drinks until 12:30 am. The couple honeymooned in Bend OR. Mr. and Mrs. Travis Scott reside in Issaquah WA.
